Christmas Light Installation in Lincoln, NE

Commercial-grade holiday lighting, custom laid out for your roofline and installed, maintained, removed and stored by our team. Serving Lincoln and surrounding areas, up to 30 miles.

Holiday lighting that traces your actual rooflines

Most holiday lighting looks improvised because it is — retail strands come in fixed lengths, so the display ends up stretched, doubled back, or stopped short of where it should finish. We start from a measurement instead. Every roofline, gable, peak and garage bay on your property is measured before a single fixture is ordered, so the finished display follows the architecture of the house rather than fighting it.

The fixtures are commercial-grade, not the strands sold by the box at a hardware store. They are rated for sustained outdoor use through a Nebraska winter, and they are ours — which means you are not buying and storing inventory you only use six weeks a year.

The service is all-inclusive. Design, fixtures, installation, in-season maintenance, takedown after the holidays and off-season storage are all part of the same quote. There is nothing to do on your end except decide what you want lit.

Why a measured layout beats a bigger box of lights

The difference between a display that looks professional and one that looks homemade is almost never the number of bulbs. It is whether the lines are straight, whether the spacing is consistent, and whether the run stops exactly where the architecture stops. Those three things come from measuring first.

It also matters for safety. A layout designed around your roof means fewer improvised anchor points, less strain on the fixtures, and no one balancing on a ladder in December trying to make a strand reach.

Warm white, colour, or both

Warm white is the most requested finish in Lincoln and the one that tends to age best. It reads as architectural rather than decorative, it photographs well, and it does not date.

Classic multicolour suits homes with families and reads well on wider, lower frontages. It needs a cleaner layout than warm white does, because the colour itself adds visual noise — uneven spacing shows far more.

Mixed schemes — warm white on the roofline with colour in the trees or along the path — give you the architectural look up top and something playful at ground level. This is the most common request we get for larger properties.

If you cannot decide, or you want a different look next year without paying for another install, that is the argument for permanent LED lighting: the fixtures stay and you change the colour from an app.

Traditional C9 Christmas light bulbs in red, white and blue along the roofline, garage trim and driveway path of a ranch home in Lincoln, NE

C9 bulbs in red, white and blue, carried along the roofline, the garage trim and down the driveway. The colours are set into the run as we build it rather than bought as a fixed strand, so the scheme is a choice.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Christmas light installation cost in Lincoln?

Cost depends on the size of the display, the height and complexity of the roofline, and how much of the property you want lit. Because every layout is measured and built for your specific home, we quote each property individually rather than selling fixed packages. The consultation and the quote are both free, and the price is firm before any work begins.

When should I book holiday lighting?

As early as you can. Installation season runs from late October through mid-December, and the calendar fills from the top down — the earlier you book, the more choice you have over your install date. Booking before the end of October is the safest way to get the week you want.

Do you provide the lights, or do I use mine?

We provide everything. We use commercial-grade fixtures rather than store-bought strands, because retail strands are not built to survive a Nebraska winter on a roofline. The fixtures stay ours and come down with us, so there is nothing for you to store.

Do you take the lights down after the holidays?

Yes. Takedown and storage are included in every holiday install. We schedule removal after the season so you never have to get on a ladder in January.

What happens if a bulb burns out mid-season?

Maintenance is included while the display is up. If something stops working, call us and we will come out and fix it.

Do you install on steep or multi-storey roofs?

Yes. We are licensed and insured, and we carry the equipment for multi-storey and steep-pitch work. If a section of your property is genuinely unsafe to light, we will tell you during the consultation rather than after.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Lincoln and anywhere within about 30 miles of it. See our service areas for the full picture.
